Energy for the week : This week, I returned from vacation with family and close friends. It was a trip that I knew I needed, but prior to going, I had reservations that I had to fight off by using perspective that I would lend to someone else and then apply to my own life. There was a moment when this trip didn’t seem to make overall logistical sense. But I knew it was bigger than fear or any unnecessary limitations—work or otherwise. The way I am wired, I’m never not busy unless I consciously take a break to enjoy life and just live and be. This morning, I saw a message from a Facebook friend of mine—someone I’ve never met in person but always have the most positive exchanges with—sharing an update on her continued journey back to restored health. That message helped put these thoughts into perspective. I will post it below. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking—about life, love, and the crazy, unpredictable nature of it all. There are many people I know who are managing a lot, and some who are just fighting to have the strength to get through the day. Sometimes, things happen that throw our plans out the window, and yet, we find a way to keep going. Prayerfully, we find new reasons to hope, new reasons to fight—let your story be evidence that miracles exist. It’s made me realize how precious each moment really is. We never know what’s coming next, so why wait? Say “I love you,” forgive, attract those dreams, and make every second count. Because, if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed for any of us. Live your life without regrets—love hard, laugh often, and hold tight to what matters. When the time comes, the most important thing is what we leave behind: love, memories, those imperfect but beautiful moments that make life worth it, and the impressions we have made. Cheers to making every day count this week, because we never know if we will be blessed to experience what we keep putting off until later. Sending energy to your week and to your overall being!
